I am your general dentist here at All About Smiles.
I am a Pacific Northwest native, having grown up in Spokane, Washington. I attended the University of Washington and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry before heading across the country to attend dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
After graduating, I completed a one-year internship in oral surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and stayed in the city to join a private practice. Despite the opportunities I had in Chicago, I decided to return to my West Coast roots and made the move to McMinnville, Oregon, with my husband, Eric, and our two dogs, Zuri (a Rhodesian ridgeback) and Huxley (a yellow lab). Now I’m excited to say that I’ve stepped into the role of small business owner in addition to being a dentist.
Moving to Oregon not only introduced a new step in my professional life but has opened up more opportunities to spend time partaking in some of my favorite hobbies like skiing, hiking, cycling, traveling and, of course, enjoying delicious Oregon wine.
My husband and I are thrilled to call the beautiful Willamette Valley home. We are also elated to welcome the newest addition to our family: Owen Robert. He was born April 1, 2018, and we cannot wait to see what this next chapter holds.
As the previous owner and your beloved dentist at All About Smiles, my time practicing in Oregon has ended. I cherish the many years that I spent caring for your dental needs and will miss my patients and All About Smiles family. Thank you all!

As the office manager, I’m sometimes the first and often one of the last people you will see during your visit, and it’s a priority to ensure your experience at our office is phenomenal from start to finish. I love interacting with people and learning new things, both of which my job here allows me to do. Early in 2015, I received my dental X-ray certification and then later in the summer passed the Expanded Functions Dental Assisting test, which will allow me to extend my abilities and very likely be part of the dental care portion of your experience here.
My life is joyfully busy between my family, work and CrossFit. I married my amazing husband, Sam, in January 2017, and we have two wonderful boys, Seth and Logan. We love taking the kids and heading into the hills with the Jeep, or who knows where in the Winnebago (oh yes, think Christmas Vacation) or cuddling up on the couch for movie night. CrossFit has become a large part of our family life and a great personal passion. I relish new challenges and have family and friends who share in seeking out, exceeding and celebrating those moments.
As a veteran employee, I have known and enjoyed caring for many of our patients for many years. I was first introduced to the dental world at an exploratory program at OHSU during my junior year of high school and my interest was sparked from there. After graduating from McMinnville High School in 2005, I enrolled in dental assisting school. In 2006, I came to All About Smiles as a dental assistant and worked here until I was accepted into Portland Community College’s dental hygiene program in fall 2013. Upon completion, I came back to my All About Smiles family in a new capacity as a restorative dental hygienist, but I don’t ever hesitate to offer my expertise as an assistant when needed. My goal is to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family as well as my best friend, Angie (see below ☺). We are always up for an adventure. In January 2017 I married my incredible husband, Nick. You can often find us playing Play Station games together, although he might say I can be a tad competitive… don’t worry, I let him win sometimes.
Oh, and when you come in for your visit, don’t forget to check out which of pair of Vans I’m sporting. I have a lot of fun with my growing collection.
I’m one of your restorative dental hygienists, and my passion is your dental health. Like my best friend, Dana, I made the decision to enter the world of dentistry in high school. In 2005, I graduated from McMinnville High School and went straight into a dental assisting program. Upon completion, I actually came to work here before deciding to accept an incredible opportunity at another dental office. In fall 2013, I entered the Portland Community College’s dental hygiene program and graduated with my best friend and your other restorative dental hygienist, Dana. I was elated to return to the All About Smiles family in April 2017 and thoroughly enjoy helping to restore and maintain our patients’ gorgeous smiles.
After 10 years together, I will marry my marvelous fiancé, Michael, in August 2018. We are hiking enthusiasts and relish spending time outside. However, if anyone knows anything about me it is this: my first love’s name is Charlie. He is my very spoiled chihuahua, and feisty is an understatement when it comes to capturing his character. Nonetheless, I adore him beyond words.
As your patient care coordinator, I’m the person with many of the answers. In addition to scheduling your appointments to make sure you get the dates and times that work best for you, I will answer the questions you have concerning insurance, copays and treatment plans. Before each of your visits, I verify that we have the most thorough breakdown of your insurance benefits so that the estimates we provide are as accurate as possible.
In June 2016 I married my wonderful husband, Joel, and inherited two amazing stepdaughters, Hailey and Hannah. We have our loving pit bull, Zeus, our eccentric rescue chihuahua, Abu, and our crazy cat, Nala. They most definitely keep us on our toes. Whether it’s summer or pouring Oregon’s famous liquid sunshine, we love to go on camping adventures. If we’re not doing that, there are weekends that I might be caught binge-watching Netflix.
